The Phone Karma Challenge Sweepstakes leveraged Twitter’s retweet and tagging features to drive viral engagement. To enter, followers had to tag someone they knew who needed a new iPhone, encouraging that person to do the same.

This strategic approach drove a 43% increase in Twitter engagement and boosted followers by 25%, making it one of SquareTrade’s most successful social campaigns to date.


SquareTrade aimed to increase video views for its latest Breakability video while simultaneously boosting social engagement through an interactive sweepstakes. To achieve this, we launched the iPhone Sibling Rivalry contest, giving participants a chance to win one of the three newest iPhone models by engaging with the campaign.

By gamifying video engagement, we successfully drove a 42% increase in video views and a 35% boost in social interactions, creating a fun, interactive campaign that increased brand awareness while showcasing the durability of the newest iPhones. The sweepstakes format, combined with influencer amplification and audience participation, proved to be an effective strategy for engaging consumers and reinforcing SquareTrade’s authority in device protection.
